Multilingual writer-director, Maja Costa blends her unique background as a cellist and Egyptology scholar into her visual storytelling. A graduate of Berlin's German Film and TV Academy (dffb) and the showrunner incubator Serial Eyes as a SKY Italia scholarship holder, she's developing boundary-pushing series across diverse genres and cultures while co-adapting Nobel laureate Olga Tokarczuk's "E.E." for the screen. Her short film "MÅNGATA" received European Space Agency funding and is streaming on Disney+.
