I have been working in cinema since 2002, when I began my career at 16 as a film restoration and post-production assistant. Since then, I’ve contributed to a wide range of projects — from Spike Lee films and documentaries to Hollywood blockbusters, commercials, and music videos — taking on roles such as second unit camera assistant, assistant editor, gaffer, assistant director, and set decorator, among others.

In recent years, I’ve been focusing on screenwriting and consulting, working as a script doctor and creative advisor on several international productions. My most recent feature-length screenplay — a German-Swiss-Italian co-production — has wrapped shooting and is set for release in 2026. A music video I co-wrote, produced, and consulted on has earned multiple awards, including at the International Sound and Music Film Festival.

This year, my screenplay in development with a British production company was selected as one of the Best Unproduced Screenplays of 2025 at the prestigious Košice International Film Festival, chosen from over 5,500 entries.

Alongside my film work, I have worked for publications such as Filmmaker Magazine and hold a master’s degree in Film Theory, Criticism and History. I am currently in pre-production on a Korean-Irish co-production, a feature-length screenplay I wrote in both Korean and English, slated to begin shooting in 2026.
